Volvo is synonymous with safety and its large estate models – still going strong in the shape of the iconic V70 estate – but the Swedish manufacturer has evolved into a manufacturer of stylish, comfortable, hi-tech and even sexy cars.
The Swede’s model line-up is still dominated by large estates and executive saloons, but capable SUV models and stylish coupes are also part of the modern Volvo line-up.
While Volvo lacks out-and-out performance models it still sells a hot hatch variant of the C30 coupe – and its powerful T5 petrol engines powers most of the larger cars.
Volvo’s trademark estates have also had a makeover too, with the new V60 estate the best-looking load-lugger on the market.
