Renault F1 Symphony from Top Gear

OK. One for your Autocar back-catalogue amassing father figure perhaps, but still worthy of a mention all the same.

On the last series of BBC TV's Top Gear, in the aftermath of Richard 'The Hamster' Hammond having nearly found the semblance of composure and steel necessitated to operate a Renault Formula One car, he was the singular audience to an impromptu performance of some orchestrated engine-note fusion emitting from an engineers laptop.

Not the catchiest melody ever witnessed it has to be said, although still outclassing anything released by Kate Nash to date.
