Vauxhall Adam Rocks concept to be unveiled at Geneva
Vauxhall has announced a new Adam concept called Rocks, which will get its world premiere at Geneva in March.
The Rocks would join Adam Glam, Slam and Jam trims if it enters production, and features a more muscular design than its siblings.
The crossover-style body on the Rocks has a 15mm taller and 20mm wider chassis than standard models.
The Rocks concept also features a fabric cabrio roof to complement its fierce looks, for open-air driving.
Vauxhall says the Rocks has been inspired by 'agile parkour athletes' that negotiate urban obstacles when moving from one place to another. Vauxhall is hoping the urban mini-crossover will open a new segment in the industry.
The Rocks is taller and wider than other models in the Adam family, and further showcases the potential personalisation options available to buyers.
"With even bolder design than any other Adam, the Rocks shows the vast potential for personalisation our stylish urban-chic newcomer offers. It combines the toughness of a crossover with the coolness of open air driving," says Malcolm Ward, Vauxhall Lead Design Director.
"As a symbol for fashion-led, active drivers wanting to stand out from the crowd, ADAM ROCKS is just one possible answer to the question of how new development paths for this unique car could be forged."
The Vauxhall Adam is available to buy now with prices starting from £11,255, with Vauxhall advertising the car's huge range of personalisation and IntelliLink technology to attract a younger type of car buyer.
