Suzuki is still ploughing its furrow of inexpensive, quirky small cars and quirky, inexpensive small SUVs.

With city cars, superminis and compact SUVs in the line-up, Suzuki certainly caters for a niche, but recent cars like the Swift have put some zing back in the Japanese manufacturer’s range.

Suzuki also offers a full range of motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles plus other small engines and components used for activities beyond motoring – building cars with a number of other manufactures and sharing platforms and parts.

In motorsport, Suzuki is deeply engrossed in various motorcycle racing championships such as the MotoGP.

The manufacturer’s cars meanwhile have in the past competed in rallying, a works team participated in the World Rally Championship in 2007 and 2008.
