Representing something of a revolution in the Nissan Qashqai is one of several compact crossover SUV models currently built by Nissan. It has been in production since 2006 and has proved successful in Britain; in 2010 the Nissan Qashqai was recorded the tenth best selling new car in the UK. That the car is built in Britain – at Nissan’s Suderland plant – cannot harm the Qashqai’s sales in the UK, but the crossover represented something of a revolution in family cars. A larger version of the Qashqai – the Qashqai+2 is a can carry seven passengers, two more than the standard model. Parts of the chassis are unique for the Nissan Qashqai+2, but trim and engines remain the same as the standard model.

Nissan Qashqai price start at around £17,000. Qashqai+2 prices kick off at around £18,000.
