Images from the Liverpool Pageant of Power
The Liverpool Pageant of Power, foreshadowing the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power (coming to Cheshire in July), will feature a host of supercars, classics and rally cars drag-racing up The Strand tonight.
In preparation, there was a smorgasbord of automotive eye candy for the petrol-head on display in Liverpool One, near the city's near Hilton hotel.
Among the modern Bentleys, the Lambos and Jaguars and the odd Phantom Drophead Coupe were some classic Bentley racers; Jaguar and Bentley Le Mans models; a whole host of 70s and 80s rally cars; two-wheelers; a turbo JCB; a Challenger tank and an Eddie Stobart Mk II Escort.
Predictably, among the millions of quids worth of metal on display, MT's favourite were the 40-year-old rally cars.
