Folly Friday: When test drives go wrong; Saab 9-5 edition
This week in Folly Friday: Man takes 9-5 for a joyride; Drunken Scot drives into the law; and the most pointless car accessory hits the market.
But before all that nonsense, take a look at this Abt-tuned Audi TT RS:
Get a FREE Car Brochure
Looking for a new car then why not start with a glossy brochure?

Nice car and all, but check out that reflection... Photoshop much?
A man walks into a Saab dealership...
... and takes a 9-5 for a test drive. Which is fair enough, really. The thing is he, err, still hasn’t come back.
Yes, he done a runner with a brand new 9-5, and the guys over at the Dutch site 'Saabforum' aren’t too pleased:
“The man picked the wrong brand to steal! Let's hope he can follow an observant Saabforummer and / or forced to quit."
“And now let Saab'jes thick bumpers have."
We don’t understand them either – blame Google’s dodgy translating skills...
“After information from the police shows the ‘client’ to be an Meesterolichter...The ‘customer’ HOT Mr FHF Stegeman." Oh god.
Give your car some new blinkers
Ever thought there was something missing from your headlamps? No? Good, you're normal.
For those who answered Yes, you'll love Car Lashes:

As you may have guessed, they're basically eyelashes, but for your car. Erm... that's about it we suppose. they're $25. The '$' may clear a few things up.
We gather these monstrosities would be useful to 'car-flirters' who, according to a pointless survey by Autoglass, are at an all-time high. So is the time on their hands by the looks of it.
Drunk drives into cop car park
A Scottish man had a night on the town last month. Nothing new there, I hear you say. His mistake? Attempting to drive home.
Unsurprisingly, Edward Gallagher - an out-of-work builder - lost his bearings slightly, and ended up turning into the local police station.
Gallagher, sitting in the middle of the car park in a rumbling Corsa, was somehow spotted by a couple of eagle-eyed cops and after tests, was proved to be twice over the limit.
He has been banned from driving for 18 months and fined the colossal sum of £150. And some say the justice system doesn't work, pff.
It’s not all doom and gloom
We realise that this weeks Folly Friday has been like an episode of Shameless: Boozy Gallaghers; serial car thieves; and um, you know, car lashes and stuff. But Perrys Motors gave us something to smile about. Check out their new online video below:

Oh yes, and before we forget. The Stig is Ben Collins. He's also unemployed.
