Headlining its sport appeal is a 1.4-litre TSI four-cylinder petrol engine, producing a power output of 178bhp and maximum torque of 184lb/ft. This engine is matched with a seven-speed DSG transmission, alongside steering wheel shift paddles for a sportier driving experience.
Its exterior features include muscular bonnet and door contours, bright yellow 'Crono' paint job and black gloss exterior door mirrors. It also features a trapezoidal exhaust, bi-xenon headlamps and 17-inch alloy wheels.
Its interior is equipped with a sports steering wheel and leather seats, which feature yellow patches to match its exterior paint job.
There is also a five-inch portable Seat entertainment system offered, which is integrated into the cars electronics, but comes with the option of being removed. The system includes satellite navigation and a hands free-phone system with voice control.
The Seat Ibiza Cupra concept has been described as a close-to-production model and a production version is expected sometime at the end of the year.
