The Range Rover Evoque has grabbed another Car of the Year title, this time from Diesel Car magazine's 2012 award ceremony.
The compact SUV succeeds the Citroen DS3 which won the honour last year. The Evoque also scooped the magazine's Best Crossover award.

These latest victories take the Evoque's tally of worldwide awards up to a total of 112 since it launched in the UK back in September 2011.
The Range Rover Evoque range includes three 2.2-litre turbodiesel engines, an eD4 or TD4 with 147bhp or alternatively a SD4 unit 187bhp. The eD4 is the most economical of these options, with a CO2 output of just 129g/km for the three-door Evoque, the TD4 unit in comparison emits 149g/km.
Land Rover gained a third award from Diesel Car Magazine, thanks to its Discovery 4 SUV which won the Best 4x4 category for the third consecutive year.

The 2012 Diesel Car Magazine awards, which are voted on by a panel of judges, saw other previous winners return as well.
The Ford Focus won the Best Medium Car category for the second year in a row, while the Seat Alhambra took the Best MPV award for the second year running.
For the third year in a row the Skoda Superb won the Best Estate Car category and the Peugeot RCZ coupe was named Best Sports Car for a third consecutive time.
The Best Eco Car award is jointly shared between the Chevrolet Volt and Vauxhall Ampera, a curious decision given that neither car is available with a diesel engine.
Instead both models utilise an electric motor which can be charged by an onboard battery pack or a small petrol engine.
