The Murano is equipped with a 265bhp VQ-series 3.5-litre DOHC V6 rated developing 248lb-ft of torque through Xtronic CVT with Adaptive Shift Control (ASC).
Based on the “D" platform shared by the Altima in 2007, The Murano benefits from lighter suspension components and increased stiffness, according to Nissan.
New dual flow path shock absorbers and twin-orifice speed-sensitive power steering system increase the Murano´s driveability around town..
The all-new Nissan Murano is due to go on sale in the US early January 2008 and be available in Europe towards the end of 2008.
