New head of operations for Audi UK
Audi UK has revealed a new head of operations with Alison Jones replacing the outgoing Julie Evetts.
Jones has been with the Volkswagen Group for 13 years, where she has served as Head of Contact Strategy for Audi – having previously fulfilled the same role for Volkswagen, Skoda and Seat.
Most recently, Jones held a position as head of Aftersales and Customer Service for VW UK and Robin Woolcock, VW Group’s managing director in the UK believes that experience will benefit both Jones and Audi in her new position.
“Alison‘s breadth of knowledge across all areas of the business, particularly her impressive record in Customer Services, combined with her commercial, leadership and change management skills stands her in good stead for her latest role as Head of Operations for Audi UK," said Woolcock.
The announcement follows Dominic Chambers’ appointment to Head of Marketing at Audi UK last month and a number of other top level changes as the brand embarks on a busy product period, as well as a new MD for the brand in Ireland.
Currently Audi boasts its largest ever model line-up, consisting of 36 models, however there are plans to expand that number to 42 over coming years.
New models for the German brand include the new A6 Avant, Q3 compact SUV and the R8 e-tron, the marque’s first electric car.
