The new Ford Mondeo Sport special edition will go on sale in September 2010, just in time for the new 60 plate.
Just 3,000 examples of the high-spec Mondeo Sport will be built, promising over £2,000 of extra options.

Ford Mondeo SPort specifications include a satellite navigation system covering Europe, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, 17-inch alloy wheels, front and rear parking sensors, solar reflect windscreen and self-dimming rear view mirror.
The equipment list is valued at over £2,000, says Ford, but the Ford Mondeo Sport will retail at £18,795 for the petrol version and £19,495 for the diesel just £300 over Zetec trim.
The Ford Mondeo Sport will be available as a five-door hatch and five-door estate - and can be specified with either 124bhp 1.8-litre diesel engine, emitting 154g/km CO2 and returning 48.7mpg combined, or a 144bhp 2.0-litre petrol engine.
The Mondeo Sport will be available in Frozen White, Panther Black, Sea Grey, and Moondust Silver.
Jon Gunn-Smith, Ford large car product manager, said: "Mondeo Sport represents the outstanding value typical of all vehicles sporting the Blue Oval badge. It will be on sale for a limited period during the lifetime of the new '60' plate, so interested customers should get in quick."
