A poll answered by over 20,000 motoring enthusiasts has revealed the cars most often considered the dream choice of motoring, with nearly half the top ten results featuring British cars including the number one spot.
The survey was hosted by airport and online car competitions company, Best of the Best. Taking the number one spot in the final results is the Aston Martin Vantage supercar, taking almost 15 per cent of the participants' votes.

The rest of the top three is also filled with British brand cars, as the Range Rover Evoque and Sport SUVs take up second and third respectively.
The Aston Martin badge has enjoyed an image of coolness which has brought strong wave of popularity in over the last couple of decades. This achievement comes thanks in part to the company's association with the James Bond 007 films, and with a new entry in the franchise, Skyfall, set to be released in a couple of weeks
The brand's popularity was confirmed earlier this year, when Aston Martin was voted not only the coolest car brand of all, but also the third coolest brand of all businesses, behind only Apple and Youtube.
The Range Rover Evoque meanwhile took second spot, specifically for its Si4 Dynamique specification, the crossover SUV received 9.4 per cent of people's vote in the survey.
Another classic British brand, Mini, also features in the Top Ten Dream Cars list. The Mini John Cooper Works S hot hatch features in ninth place.
The remaining positions in this survey's top ten is mostly filled with premium German motors, including the Audi R8, Porsche 911, BMW M3 and Mercedes SL500.
Remarkably while there are five Porsches which made it in top 20, there is only one Ferrari - the 458 Italia which placed in eighth. The 458 supercar is also surprisingly the only entry from Italy to make the top ten, without a Lamborghini or Alfa Romeo in sight.
