MG has published sketches of an all new mini SUV concept which could rival crossovers like the Nissan Juke.
The concept car is called the Icon and it is anticipated it will make its first public appearance at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show later this April.

Reports indicate that the Icon is a preview to an upcoming production version which will arrive to the Chinese market in 2014.
While it's believed the car will also hit the UK market eventually, it's likely it won't reach here until 2015 at the earliest.
The MG Icon itself is a five-door, four-seater hatchback. The exterior design includes a wide-mouth grille, rear 'suicide' doors and flared rear wheel arches.
Little details are confirmed regarding the car's interior, but it's believed the two seats at the back can be folded flat into the floor to largely increase the car's load capacity.
Rumours suggest the Icon is based on the same chassis as the MG5, an upcoming Ford Focus-rivalling family hatchback which is expected to hit the UK market in late 2013.
With that in mind it's possible the production version of the Icon will offer the same engine range expected with the MG5 when it hits the UK market.
That means engines could maybe include a 162bhp 1.5-litre petrol engine and a 1.9-litre turbodiesel.
More details on the MG Icon and its production equivalent could be revealed during the Beijing Motor Show.
