Holiday-makers to a luxury Italian resort will be greeted at the airport with a unique taxi - an £80,000 Maserati super-saloon.
Taxi services are typically focused on simply getting from point A to B, therefore they are usually forgettable, which is probably a good thing because it meant nothing bad happened.

Now however, the Italian car makers Maserati are supporting a local holiday with a taxi service that should be memorable for all the right reasons.
Maserati has teamed up with Forte Village, one of the most exclusive holiday resort found on the Mediterranean island of Sardinia.
Those with enough cash to book a holiday at this resort (prices currently start from £1,605 per person) will fly to Cagilari airport located on the island Sardinia. From there clients will be taxied to the resort in a trip estimated to take 45 minutes.
The trip is covered in a luxurious Maserati Quattroporte four-door saloon, specifically the GT-S Awards Edition which reportedly starts from £81,225.
This special edition Quattroporte first went on sale back in 2010 to commemorate the car's success in collecting awards, as many as 56 globally in fact.
The car boasts leather and chrome interior, plus a 434bhp 4.7-litre V8 petrol engine.
If all that doesn't sound cool enough for you, clients will also get the chance to test drive some Maseratis whilst on holiday.
Throughout this summer a team of professional drivers, including former World Rally contender Alex Fiorio, will demonstrate the performance of several models including the new £90,390 Maserati GranTurismo Sport with a 454bhp V8.
The arrival of the new GranTurismo Sport at Sardinia this summer will be celebrated with a cocktail event at the Forte Village resort. This event will also showcase the Bulgari Octo Maserati, a luxurious watch which costs about £20,570.
This is certainly one way a petrolhead could spend a stack of money on a holiday this summer.
