Volkswagen has confirmed prices for its 2013 Golf model, with UK prices starting from just £16,330 on-the-road.
First deliveries are due from January 2013, with dealerships open for orders from 18 October.

Prices for the new, revised model are lower than previous models, which represents excellent value for Volkswagen's best-seller.
Three trim levels will be available in the UK - the Volkswagen Golf S, the SE and GT. GTI and BlueMotion versions will be added to the line-up at some point next year.
Buyers will have the option of four petrol engines and two diesels from launch. The new Golf also has an impressive range of standard features available, which include seven airbags, a driver's knee airbag, ABS brakes with ESP,five three-point seatbelts and more.
Entry-level models are also available with a Composition Media system which includes a 5.8-inch colour touchscreen, DAB digital radio, a CD player, MDI interface and more. Semi-automatic 'Climatic' air-conditioning is also featured as standard.
S, SE and GT trims all have a huge range of extra equipment available. City Emergency Braking and rain-sensing wipers are available, as is an automatically-dimming rear-view mirror and dusk sensor.
Its interior on these trims features stainless steel decorative inserts, a leather-trimmed handbrake, 'Zoom/Micro' cloth upholstery and more.
The Volkswagen Golf GT trim is available with 17-inch Dijon alloy wheels, Cherry Red rear light clusters, Alcantara and cloth sports seats, and much more besides.
Optional equipment for the new Volkswagen Golf is varied. Additions comprise of high beam assist, lane assist, park assist and much more.
The Volkswagen Golf has been one of the manufacturer's most successful cars, with over 29 million units sold in Europe alone.
