21st September
Dacia Sandero
The all-new Dacia Sandero supermini will go on sale in the UK when the Renault-owned budget brand officially launches at the start of January 2013.
Most significantly, the car is set to become the cheapest new supermini of all in the UK market, with a starting price reportedly set at below £7,000.
McLaren P1
This concept car will be presented to the public for the first time at Paris. McLaren has described the P1 as a "design study" for a new production car which will effectively replace the company's legendary F1 supercar.
Performance details have yet to be confirmed, but reports indicate the P1 could boast 1,000bhp and deliver a top speed of 240+mph.
Volvo V40 Cross Country
Also making its public debut in Paris is this rugged-looking crossover model based on the Volvo V40 family hatchback. The Cross Country features a bulkier body, higher ride height and bigger wheels compared to the standard model.
Prices for this Volvo will start at £19,500 when it hits UK dealerships in January 2013.
Kia Carens
Few details have been confirmed as of yet regarding the new Kia Carens MPV. However the car will appear at the Paris Motor Show sporting the company's latest design language.
The new Carens will go on sale in the UK during March 2013, with four engine options to choose from.
Jaguar F-Type
An image of the much-discussed and all-new Jaguar F-Type sports car was leaked out on the web just a week before it makes its public debut in Paris.
The rear-wheel drive, two-seater roadster will feature stop-start engine technology as standard and will likely start from around £55,000 when it hits UK showrooms in spring 2013.

2013 Kia Pro_cee'd
The new Pro_cee'd is once again a sportier three-door hatchback addition to Kia's current family car range. It will go on sale in September 2012 and shares many of components found on other models in the Kia Cee'd range. A hot hatch performance specification of the Pro_cee'd has been rumoured for sometime in 2013.
Mini Paceman
This all-new addition to the Mini range is essentially a three-door and sharper styled version of the company's Countryman mini-SUV. The styling also takes some elements from the Mini Cooper hatchback. The Paceman will initially launch in the UK in March 2013 in seven specifications, prices are expected to start from £18,970.
BMW Concept Active Tourer
This latest concept car by BMW is a preview to the company's first front-wheel drive cars in the company's history. The first BMWs based on this Concept Active Tourer are scheduled to arrive to markets in late 2014. A five-door hatchback model much like this concept is expected to challenge the latest Mercedes B-Class.
Hyundai i30 three-door
Pictures and details have been released of the new Hyundai i30 three-door hatchback specification. The car will join the five-door hatchback and Tourer estate models in the i30 line-up and will go on sale near the end of this year before first UK deliveries arrive in 2013.
While the three-door version strongly resembles the rest of the i30 range, it does have some new exterior panels, though the engine range remains identical.
Citroen C3 Picasso
A refreshed version of the Citroen C3 Picasso will be present at this year's Paris Motor Show. The MPV has improved styling, two new body colours and extra gadgets like satellite navigation and Bluetooth. Specifications and pricing will be revealed closer to the C3 Picasso's launch. It will likely go on sale sometime during early 2013.

Smart ForStars
This striking new concept will be present at the Paris Motor Show, and it acts as a preview for the brand new Smart ForTwo city car. The ForStars concept is muscular and described as a Sports Utility Coupe, hinting the next ForTwo could have a mini-SUV style specification. The ForStarts is also an electric car, powered by an 80bhp electric motor.
Honda CR-Z facelift
Honda has revealed a facelift for its CR-Z hybrid coupe, which can be seen up close at this year's Paris Motor Show. The updated looks for the CR-Z is amongst a series of changes Honda has announced for Paris which also includes a new 1.6-litre diesel engine for the Civic hatchback that emits just 94g/km.
Fiat Panda 4x4
The long-awaited 4x4 version of the Fiat Panda will make its public debut appearance at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. This model shares much of the styles and panels from the standard Panda; however a permanent four-wheel drive system is of course introduced as well as a stability control system as standard.
This car will go on sale later this year and serve as a direct rival to the 2013 Dacia Duster.
Fiat will present other upcoming models at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, including the 500L MPV.

Peugeot 2008 concept
Peugeot is planning the release of a new Juke rival, the 2008 crossover.
Formerly known as the Peugeot Urban Crossover, the 2008 offers a 'typical' crossover design that may find it hard to stand out from the rest of the compact SUV crowd. The 2008 concept uses a 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine, developing 110bhp.
Peugeot RCZ facelift
Peugeot is set to unveil a new facelifted RCZ coupe at Paris this year called the RCZ R concept.
Stand out features include a more distinctive front end and sleeker body design, but its headlining feature is its new adopted 260bhp engine.
Peugeot Onyx
Peugeot has announced that it will reveal a 600bhp hybrid concept car at Paris this year.
Not much has been announced yet, but aesthetically, we can say that it offers a low riding contour stricken exterior with a futuristic looking interior - which pretty much sums up every concept car.

Ssangyong e-XIV Extended Range Electric concept
It seems Ssangyong is taking another step in making the brand more mainstream with an E-REV concept, the e-XIV - which stands for electric - eXciting user Interface Vehicle.
The new E-REV concept comes in an SUV package and like all other E-REVs, uses a small petrol engine alongside an electric battery. The e-XIV concept also features roof mounted solar panels to supply pollution free solar energy.

2013 Ford Fiesta
The first images of the facelifted 2013 Ford Fiesta have finally been published a few weeks short of the car's first public appearance.
The Fiesta supermini will look to continue its strong performance in markets including the UK via a modern styling updating, including Ford's new trademark trapezoid grille, and by adding more sophisticated gadgets to the equipment list.
2013 Volkswagen Golf
Volkswagen has revealed the new seventh generation Golf hatchback ahead of its first appearance in Paris.
The Astra and Focus rival has changed little in terms of styling, but the car is larger and more spacious than its predecessor. The new Golf's engine range includes a 1.6-litre BlueMotion diesel which is boasting impressive figures like 88.3mpg and just 85g/km in CO2 emissions.
2013 Ford Mondeo
The new Ford Mondeo is about a whole year away from its UK launch, but the range is making an appearance at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. New pictures of the saloon and estate variants have been published.
This week it was confirmed the 2013 Mondeo range would include Ford's award winning 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine.
2013 Ford EcoSport
Another Ford on show at Paris is a brand new mini-SUV called the EcoSport. Based on the Fiesta supermini, the EcoSport will challenge the likes of the Nissan Juke and the upcoming Vauxhall Mokka.
Interested UK customers however will have to wait patiently for at least another 18 months before it goes on sale on these shores.
Peugeot 208 GTi
Peugeot has confirmed the long expected news that its 208 GTi hot hatch will in fact go into production.
To mark the announcement the first official images of the production-ready GTi have been released ahead of its public debut in Paris. Peugeot will be aiming to replicate the success of its last popular hot hatch, the classic 205 GTi.

Citroen DS3 convertible
Citroen are revealing a new cabriolet version of its DS3 supermini. We haven't quite decided whether or not we like the DS3 convertible yet, but the soft top option should be a move forward for Citroen.

Fiat Panda 4x4
Finally, Fiat are revealing its 4x4 Panda city car, which upon release later this year will make it the only 4x4 city car on the market. With its snug body shape, the 4x4 Panda will be going up against the likes of the Nissan Juke.
Infiniti LE concept
Infiniti are set to unveil its first ever 100 per cent electric car at Paris this year called the LE concept. With the Infiniti M35 Hybrid already revealed, it seems Infiniti are making a few more economical steps.

Nissan electric SUV concept
Apparently Nissan could be jumping on the electric car (EV) band wagon with a new SUV concept. Although nothing has been confirmed, it isn't an unrealistic proposal, as Nissan already showed an electric interest earlier this year in Geneva with its Hi-Cross hybrid concept.

Audi A3 and S3 Sportback to appear
Audi has announced it will be revealing its new A3 and S3 Sportback models at Paris this year, which offer a bigger and more convenient take on the popular models. The release of these models has probably been triggered by the successful sales figures of its A1 Sportback model.
New Porsche 911 Carrera to hit Paris
A new and more powerful Porsche 911 Carrera is on the way with the 4 and 4S models set to appear at this years Paris Motor Show.

New Toyota Auris to appear at Paris
Toyota is set to reveal its new Auris model at Paris this year, which will incorporate Toyota's new design language and update its popular Auris name tag.

Kia Carens teaser image
The new Kia Carens will replace the ageing Carens model and will look considerably better looking compared to the current Carens. It will challenge the new Ford B-Max and put Kia on the compact MPV band wagon.
Suzuki S-Cross crossover concept
This is the new S-Cross, which apparently embodies "emotion, quality and aerodynamics". It is clear that its new compact crossover/hatchback body shape will be setting its sights on the baby crossover segment upon release, and therefore it may act as a replacement for the Suzuki SX4.
Jaguar F-Type
The aptly named Jaguar F-Type will be a convertible upon release and will join Jaguar's acclaimed sports car range with the choice of either a 3.0-litre V6 or a 5.0-litre V8 under its bonnet. Although power of the V8 is still unknown, we will find out if it will surpass its XF, XJ, and XK siblings when it's officially revealed.
