The new M5 comes with a 4.0-litre 552bhp V8 petrol engine that clears 62mph in 4.4 seconds and generates 501lb-ft of torque in the process. It also comes with a top speed that’s limited to 155mph. That’s brutal performance which pushes supercars hard from standstill.
